Odessa
has two distinctly different nightlifes, one for summer
and one for winter. At the end of May the winter clubs
close and summer beach clubs open. There are several huge
open air nightclubs along the beach that are packed full
of provocatively dressed young ladies. The summer scene
in Odessa is similar to Spring Break here but without
so many rules. Since the drinking age is only 18 you find
a uplifting and enthusiastic atmosphere in the clubs.
The winter clubs are equally impressive. There are many
multi-story clubs downtown with a variety of musical themes.
During the winter nights the only really activity in Odessa
are the nightclubs making them more densely packed with
young ladies looking for something to do. In the winter
or summer the clubs usual start at midnight and go until
the party finally dies down, usually after 5 or 6am.
